Whitianga Scallop Festival tickets on sale
Some 3,000 tickets went on sale on Wednesday for the Whitianga Scallop Festival, following the successful earlybird sale of 1000 tickets. The event, scheduled for 17SEP, will offer
local food and wines from 50 stalls, and Masterchef Judge Ray McVinnie and contestant Tracey-Lee will be on stage doing cooking demonstrations, along with Hell’s Kitchen runner up Bonnie Muirhead. Iconic kiwi band dDub are among the entertainers lined up for the festival, and there are prizes for “the World’s Best Scallop recipe” and the best dressed festival-goer.
